Photography Suggestions

Suggested reading: even if you only sit in the bookstore and read through the book, please look at The Bride's Guide to Wedding Photography by Steve Sint. You'll see loads of tips to help you help your photographer make the most of your posed formals.

No doubt there are many wedding moments you won't want to miss. The best way is to ensure that we have every opportunity to capture all the right moments, to that end we provide this suggested shot list. The style and number of these images depends on discussions prior to the event and how long you've contracted for the job. Since you should count on at least five(5) minutes per shot, it's unrealistic to expect all the photos below, but pick and choose those shots that mean the most to you. We will do our best to ensure that all moments are captured, but do not guarantee it.

Getting Ready:

• Bride's clothes – hanging up and ready to go

• Bridesmaids doing bride's hair and makeup

• Bride and bridesmaids getting dressed, applying makeup

• Mom and brise

• Full length shot of bride in gown checking herself out in mirror

• Detail of clothing, shoes, garter, something borrowed, something blue

• Bride with parent/s and/or stepparent/s

• Bride with sibling/s

• Bride with honor attendant

• Bride with bridesmaids
